Still trying to figure out how all of this blog shit works. It would be nice to have a bit of a handle on it before I hit the road to Rankin, which apparently has suffered from it's highest recorded yearly snowfall.

Dude, time to get cold, wet, and nasty. Rankin should be no different from North Van, just way colder and with much less choice of fine beverages. Did I mention I am lloking out my window right now at a beautiful warm sunny day and that I will be on my bike today on the Shore and then tomorrow at Wheezler???
Chowder
Crashed hard at the park today.....no big injury to the bod (other than some stiff muscles in the back and a bruise on my tail bone) but my pack and pads took a bit of a beating. Up and over the bars at high speed jumping into a step down - then everything exploded and I was dirt.
Thank God it wasn't frozen tundra in Rankin though, I might actually have died. If not from the fall, then certainly from being licked to death by some freak'in Muskox!
